Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate security controls and detection platforms to identify, analyze, and qualify suspicious or malicious activities with a strong focus on accuracy and low false-positive rates.

• Analyze, triage, and prioritize security alerts and incidents based on risk and business impact, providing clear and actionable diagnostics.

• Actively contribute to security incident response, including containment, mitigation, remediation, and coordination with the 24/7 SOC and internal IT teams.

• Continuously improve the organization’s security posture by enhancing detection rules, operational controls, and configuration hardening across cloud and on-prem environments.

• Support the secure operation of Microsoft 365, including monitoring identity, email, and collaboration-related threats, and participating in M365 incident response and hardening activities.

• Document security incidents, actions, and outcomes clearly, and contribute to concise, risk-oriented security reporting.

• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, cloud, digital, and support teams, as well as external security partners, while operating within the group security governance framework.

• Contribute to security procedures, runbooks, awareness initiatives, and incident simulation exercises to strengthen operational readiness.

Required Skills and Experience

• Around 5 years of experience in Security Operations, SecOps, SOC, or a comparable cybersecurity role, including incident detection and response.

• Strong understanding of cloud, hybrid, and collaborative IT environments and related security risks.

• Ability to analyze security events, assess risk and impact, and contribute effectively to incident response and remediation.

• Pragmatic, structured, and reliable working style, with the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure.

• Team-oriented mindset with clear and professional communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Very good proficiency in both German and English for effective collaboration in an international environment.
